Village Energy has been announced as the winner of the National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) sponsored Energy category in the 2020 Australian Technologies Competition hosted by Impact Tech Ventures.

The Australian Technologies Competition seeks to identify and accelerate Australian technology 'scaleups' with the greatest global potential.

Village Energy has been included in the 2020 APAC 25 list produced by Cleantech Group, a global provider of research, consulting and events to catalyze opportunities in sustainable innovation.

The APAC 25 is a list of independent companies from the Asia Pacific region engaged in sustainable innovation that are viewed by the market as likely to have significant impact in a five-to-ten-year time frame.​
Village Energy is proud to have been selected among the 9 finalists in the Grand Final Awards of the first edition of the EDF Pulse 2020 Startup Awards, which support socially inclusive Indian-based innovations for an electric world that’s more eco-friendly and better connected.

The winners will receive customised lab-to-market incubation support at CEIIC, which includes access to world-class lab infrastructure and test beds, technical advisory, R&D support for product design and manufacturing, piloting opportunities with industry leaders and access to grant funding.

Village Energy's brand ambassador and Aussie cricket legend Adam Gilchrist visited the pilot project site in Pagidiroy to have a look at how the technology works first hand and to speak with Village Energy customers about the difference that the solution has impacted their lives.

Adam visited the RDT sports campus and participated in the making of a Village Energy corporate video which explains how our solution works to provide cheaper and more reliable energy for the community.

Village Energy is proud to have been recognised at the 2019 Volunteer Employer Recognition Awards (VERA). VERA celebrates employers of volunteers who play a vital role in keeping the community safe. The awards celebrates the invaluable contribution employers make by supporting emergency services volunteers to respond to incidents.

Both companies will partner closely to install Village Energy's technology platform across FEDCO's rural area of operation. An initial 500 new connections will demonstrate Village Energy's ability to improving system efficiency and operating results and further enhancing customer satisfaction and shared value.
This is an exciting new phase for the partnership and Village Energy is delighted to be working with the progressive team at Feedback Energy Distribution Company Limited.
